Notification Overview

Plotstuff sends email notifications to keep you informed about important events in your projects and team. Notifications are designed to be helpful without being overwhelming — you receive emails only for actions that require your attention or awareness.

All notification emails come from notifications@plotstuff.com and include direct links to the relevant project, flow, or setting so you can take action immediately.

Types of Notifications

Flow Updates — You receive an email when a participant submits a response to one of your approval, installation, or inspection flows. This includes approval decisions, installation confirmations, and inspection results.

Team Invitations — When you are invited to join a team, you receive an email with a link to accept the invitation and access the team's projects.

Flow Completion — When all participants in a flow have responded, you receive a summary email with the overall outcome.

Account Alerts — Security-related notifications such as password changes, new device sign-ins, and account updates.

Add notifications@plotstuff.com to your email contacts or safe senders list to ensure Plotstuff emails do not end up in your spam folder.

Managing Your Preferences

You can manage your notification preferences from your Account Settings page. Each notification type can be toggled on or off independently, giving you full control over what emails you receive.

If you are managing multiple active projects with many flows, you may want to disable flow update notifications and check progress directly in the app instead. For less active projects, keeping notifications enabled ensures you never miss an important update.

Some critical notifications — such as security alerts and billing updates — cannot be disabled. These are essential for account security and compliance.
